This summer is expected to be the most profitable in the last ten years for the Romanian tourism. Over four million tourists are expected to spend more than EUR 313 million on accommodation and food, according to a study by Keysfin.

Due to the international situation, more Romanian tourists, as well as foreigners, have come to the Romanian seaside and Danube Delta.

In 2010, only 3.04 million Romanian tourists visited the Dobrogea area, which includes the seaside and the Delta. The number grew to 3.8 million in 2015.

In the last three weeks the occupancy rate of hotels at the seaside reached 100%, reads the report. The number of tourists in Dobrogea could thus exceed 4 million this summer.
