Famous American actor Armand Assante shoots fantastic thriller in Romania
Famous American actor Armand Assante has been in Romania in the past weeks for the shooting of his latest movie, fantastic thriller “The Wanderers”.
Armand Assante plays the role of Louis, a vampire hunter and spirits cleaner, who gets to a village in Transylvania trying to untangle a mysterious and bloody story centered around a local castle. He faces one of the biggest challenges of his life and gets to confront a familiar past.
Several well-known Romanian actors also play in this movie, including Razvan Vasilescu, who also played together with Assante in the movie “California Dreamin’” by Cristian Nemescu.
“The Wanderers” is directed by a Romanian filmmaker, Dragos Buliga. The movie’s cast includes Romanian actors Raluca Aprodu, Oana Marcu, Alexandra Apetrei, Pali Vecsei, George Remes, Bogdan Nechifor, Claudiu Bleont, as well as actors from Bosnia and South Korea.
The movie that has been filmed in some beautiful places in Romania, such as Doftana, Biertan, and Pelisor. The last scenes were shot on Thursday, July 21, in Bucharest’s Old Town, according to Agerpres.
The movie should be ready next spring.
