The work on the Comarnic-Brasov highway will start this year, 13 years after the project was launched.

Romania’s National Company for Road Infrastructure (CNAIR) has signed the attribution reports for one of the Comarnic-Brasov highway’s sectors, as well as for the Comarnic bypass this week, transport minister Razvan Cuc said on Wednesday. The winner will be announced soon.

The Comarnic - Brasov highway section is divided into five sectors.

All political parties have promised to build the Comarnic - Brasov highway over the last ten years in all the electoral campaigns, but work has yet to begin.
