Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah join lineup of Romania’s biggest music festival

Untold, Romania’s biggest electronic music festival, announced several new additions to this year’s lineup. They are Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, Hurts, MØ, R City, Jasmine Thompson, and Example & DJ Wire.

The festival takes place between August 3 and August 6, in Cluj-Napoca, in western Romania.

British singer Ellie Goulding will be performing for the first time in Romania, and is one of the artists most demanded by the festival’s fans. Known for such hits as Love me like you do and Burn, each with over one billion You Tube views, she is the winner of numerous Brit Awards and MTV Awards. In 2015, she received her first Grammy nomination for the piece Love me like you do, included in the soundtrack of the film 50 shades of Grey.

Tinie Tempah is a well-known British rapper, at his second performance at the Cluj festival, after the 2015 one. Some of his best-known hits are Written in the stars, Girls Like, and Miami 2 Ibiza.

Danish singer MØ became an international sensation with the hit Lean on, performed together with Major Lazer. The piece gathered almost 2 billion views on You Tube. She performed with many top names, including Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande.

Established in 2009, Hurts have performed in Romania several times before. Their albums, such as Happiness, Exile and Surrender, have made it to the top of musical charts in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland or Finland. They are considered one of the best pop groups of recent years and frequently headline major festivals.

Dutch DJs Afrojack and Armin Van Buuren, Swedish DJ duo Axwell and Ingrosso, Belgian/Greek DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Dutch DJs Hardwell and Martin Garrix, and American musician Steve Aoki will also perform at this year’s edition of the event.

The first 11,000 subscriptions for this year’s edition were put up for sale at the end of November 2016, and sold in less than three minutes.
