Eurobarometer: Most Romanians have a positive image about the EU
More than half of Romanians, namely 59%, have a positive image about the European Union (EU) and 46% of them believe that their voice matters in the Union, according to a recent Eurobarometer survey, cited by local Economica.net.
Romanians are also among the most optimistic Europeans when it comes to the EU future – 74%, compared to a maximum of 78% registered in Ireland.
Romanians’ main concerns refer to unemployment, the economic situation, as well as the rising prices and the inflation.
On average, 39% of Europeans have a positive image about the EU and 40% believe their voice matters.
