Exotic butterflies fly free at Bucharest museum

15 June 2016

Tropical butterflies from America and Asia will fly free at the Antipa Museum in Bucharest during the Colors get wings exhibition that will start this weekend.

Between June 18 and September 4, visitors will have the chance to see special butterflies such as the owl butterfly and the emperor butterfly, admire their beautiful colors and shapes, and learn more about them.

In parallel with the exhibition, the museum will also organize a series of workshops in which experts will tell children lesser-known aspects from the beautiful insects’ lives.

Tickets cost RON 12 for adults and RON 10 for children, students, and pensioners, while kids aged under three can enter for free. The exhibition will stay open between 10:00 and 18:00, from Tuesday to Sunday.
