Hasan Ali Yardimci is the new general manager of Arctic, one of the largest household appliance producers in Romania, starting with October this year. Yardimci replaced Monica Iavorschi, who has been promoted international marketing director within the group that owns Arctic, Arçelik Group.

Arctic’s new general manager joined Arçelik Group in 2009 as director of strategic planning and business development. Before that, he worked for companies such as McKinsey & Co and Sears Holdings, in strategic consulting, retail and consumer goods areas.

Yardimci holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the United States and a degree in mechanical engineering from Boğaziçi University in Turkey.

Arctic ended 2013 with a turnover of EUR 284 million and over 2,500 employees. Last year, the company opened a new production line in Gaesti, Romania, expanding its production capacity by 25%.
