Famous flamenco singer Diego el Cigala will perform in Romania next year
Diego el Cigala, one of the most appreciated flamenco singers in the world, will perform in Bucharest next spring. The concert will take place at Sala Palatului on May 9.
The artist, nicknamed “the Sinatra of flamenco” due to his beautiful voice, has won two Grammys and five Latin Grammy nominations so far.
Born into a family of Spanish Romani artists and intellectuals in Madrid, el Cigala started his solo career in 1997. Four years later, he was already nominated for best flamenco album for his album Corren Tiempos de Alegría. The collaboration with legendary Cuban pianist Bebo Valdés led to the 2003 double CD called Lagrimas Negras, which brought Diego el Cigala a Latin Grammy award.
The artist has played for millions of fans worldwide, and will make a stop in Bucharest on May 9, 2017. Tickets for the concert in Romania are already on sale on vreaubilet.ro, for prices between RON 150 (EUR 33) and RON 250 (EUR 55). VreauBilet buyers will benefit from a 20% discount until January 15.
