Zoltan Boszormenyi, a Romania-born writer and the founder of the Luxten company will be launching his most recent book, 'Trupul molatic al noptii' (The remiss frame of the night) on Tuesday, October 5, at the Dalles gallery in Bucharest, from 18,00 hours.  The book launch will be followed by an autograph session and a cocktail.

Boszormenyi was born in Arad in 1951 and attended  Hungarian high schools in Kolozsvar (Cluj) and Arad, but left Romania for Canada and the US. He has Graduated from York University of Toronto majoring in philosophy. In 1990, he returned to Romania where he founded the Luxten company and bought several factories. After 12 years, he sold it all and moved to his residence in Monaco, where he continues to write.

“Seven years after my arrival in Toronto I started my own business. The net profit of the first two weeks was six thousand dollars. I photocopied the check before depositing it in the bank and framed it. I may still have it in the basement storage area of one of my apartments. It took me two times seven, that is, fourteen years for me to build the most modern light bulb manufacturing plant of Romania. My company also got contracts for the reconstruction of Bucharest’s and other major Romanian cities’ streetlights,” writes Zoltan Boszormenyi on his website.
