French President will visit Romania this fall
French President Francois Holland will pay a visit to Romania this fall, on September 12-13, according to French Minister of State for European Affairs Harlem Désir.
The French official made the announcement on Thursday, during a joint press conference with Romanian foreign minister Lazar Comescu, reports local Mediafax.
Désir also recalled the Romanian’s Prime Minister’s visits to Paris and his meetings with the French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, adding that bilateral relations between France and Romania are very good.
Ciolos made a visit to France in January this year. At that time, Francois Hollande said that he would visit Romania this year. Romania's Prime Minister also went to France for the opening match of the Euro 2016 between France and Romania. He had meetings with both President Hollande and Prime Minister Valls.
Italy's President visited Romania earlier this week and Germany's President is expected on an official visit next week.
