Interpol, The Kills and more to play at Romania’s Summer Well music festival
American rock band Interpol and indie rock group The Kills will play at the Summer Well music festival in Romania this summer.
The 2017 edition of Summer Well will take place on August 12-13 at the Stirbey Domain in Buftea, near Bucharest.
Interpol is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 1997. The band’s debut album Turn on the Bright Lights (2002) reached the tenth position on the NME’slist of top albums in 2002, and number one in Pitchfork Media’s Top 50 Albums of 2002. The band later released other albums that were also well received by both the critics and the public. Read more about Interpol here.
The Kills are an indie rock band made of American singer Alison Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie Hince. All their first four albums, namely Keep On Your Mean Side, No Wow, Midnight Boom, and Blood Pressures reaches the UK album chart, while their latest studio album Ash & Ice, which was released last summer, reached the UK Top 20 album chart. This year’s Summer Well lineup also includes English musician Birdy, electronic music group Metronomy, and alternative rock band Nothing But Thieves. Other names are to be announced.
