Industrial gas supplier Linde Gaz Romania, a subsidiary of the German group Linde, has completed the acquisitions of Rodmir Expert and ITO Industries International, two companies active in the same industry.

The company hasn’t made public the deal’s value.

"The deal focuses on industrial gas related operations in some of the locations in Romania: Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, Targu Mures, Hunedoara and Ploiesti. Rodmir and ITO supply gas to customers in the retail sector," according to a press release of Linde Gaz Romania.

Ciprian Islai, Linde Gaz Romania general manager, said that the transaction represents the company’s commitment to continue to invest in the region.

ITO Industries International was a distributor of industrial gas for the German group Buse. The company had sales of some EUR 3 million in 2015. Rodmir Expert is an industrial gas producer with Romanian capital. It had a turnover of under EUR 1 million in 2015.

Linde Gaz Romania had sales of EUR 122 million and a net profit of EUR 21 million with 450 employees in 2015, according to official data. At global level, the group Linde had revenues of EUR 16.94 billion in the 2016 financial year.
