The Christmas parties organized for employees have become a tradition for many multinational companies in Romania.

Their investment in such events range between EUR 5,000 and EUR 40,000, depending on the number of employees, the theme, and the chosen location, reports local Profit.ro. Most companies prefer to organize the parties in Bucharest.

“This year the demand for Christmas parties has increased by about 50%, and most demands are for themed parties,” said Dana Tudor Tanase, managing partner of Creative & Bright, a local firm that specializes in integrated HR and business services. The company organizes events and training programs for multinational companies.

Large companies in Romania annually invest between EUR 15,000 and EUR 70,000 in corporate events. Besides the Christmas parties, the most popular events are birthday parties, or parties for the employees’ kids, which are organized around June 1.
