New Samsung Galaxy S8, available for pre-order in Romania: Where can you find it cheaper?
The three big international telecom providers in Romania, namely Orange, Vodafone, and Telekom, launched their pre-sales campaign for the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones on Thursday, March 30, one day after the Korean producer unveiled the new version of its flagship model.
The phone will officially become available in Romania on April 28 but those who pre-order it until April 19 will be able to get it earlier, starting April 20.
Vodafone recommends a Super RED 49 mobile voice and data subscription with the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ models. Clients who want to buy the smartphone together with a two-year subscription will pay EUR 374 for the S8 and EUR 469 for the S8+.
Orange Romania sells the new Samsung Galaxy models with a two-year Orange Me 42 subscription at a price of EUR 349 for S8 and EUR 449 for S8+. Orange’s offer is thus more convenient that the one proposed by Vodafone, as the price of the device is lower and the monthly cost of the subscription is also lower.
Telekom Romania also has a more convenient offer than Vodafone. Telekom pre-sells the Samsung Galaxy S8 model for RON 1,499 (EUR 330) bundled with a Complete XXL two-year subscription worth EUR 49.5 per month. The S8+ is RON 1,999 (EUR 440) with the same subscription.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S8 without a subscription contract is close to EUR 800 at all three providers.
