Classifieds platform OLX launches direct advertising service in Romania
OLX, the largest classifieds platform in Romania, will launch a new service dedicated to users who want to promote their business, both locally and nationally.
Their businesses will be promoted on the three sites owned by OLX, namely OLX.ro, Autovit.ro, and Storia.ro.
The new platform allows users to set their own promotional campaigns directly on the website Publicitate.olx.ro. They can set a budget ranging between EUR 100 and EUR 1,500 and pay online.
Users can choose geographic areas of interest for their business and can select the categories where they want their ads to be displayed.
OLX launched its own real estate agency last week, which triggered a revolt from real estate agents. The OLX platform is owned by South-African investment fund Naspers, which also owns eMAG.ro, the biggest online retailer in Romania.
