Polish airline launches flights between Romania's Cluj-Napoca and Warsaw
LOT Polish Airlines will operate regular flights between Cluj-Napoca and Warsaw starting March 30, said Jakub Malecki, the company’s general director for Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
The airline will start with four flights per week.
“We will soon see daily flights on this route if results are good,” Malecki added, reports local Economica.net.
Romania is a key market for the company. In 2015, the Avram Iancu international airport in Cluj-Napoca ranked fifth in Europe for the increase in the number of passengers, in the category of airports under five million passengers, said Marius Manzat, president of the Cluj County Council.
