Romanian healthcare operator Regina Maria takes over three medical centers
Romanian private healthcare operator Regina Maria has taken over the company C.M. Dr. Grigoras which operates in the country’s western region and had a turnover of EUR 1.5 million last year. The firm has three medical centers in Timisoara and Lugoj.
“Although we’ve arrived later on this market, Timisoara is a key city for us,” said Fady Chreih, Regina Maria GM.
Regina Maria paid some EUR 1.5 million for the Dr. Grigoras medical centers. This is the third acquisition made by Regina Maria in the last two months, after taking over the Ponderas hospital and the Helios Medical Centre in Craiova.
Regina Maria is the second-biggest private healthcare operator in Romania. It is controlled by private equity fund Mid Europa Partners.
