Romanian opera singer Laura Bretan qualified to the final of the famous talent show America’s Got Talent on Wednesday evening, August 31.

The show’s jury, made of famous model Heidi Klum, singer Mel B, TV producer Simon Cowell, and TV host Howie Mandel, selected the 14-year old singer to qualify for the final, as her act was not among the four who got most votes from the public.

In the semifinals, Laura Bretan performed the famous piece Pie Jesu, which has been recorded over time by famous sopranos such as Sarah Brightman, Jackie Evancho, Sissel Kyrkjebø, Marie Osmond, and Anna Netrebko.

Her performance brought her standing ovations and the jury’s appreciation.

Laura Bretan also won the Romania’s Got Talent show earlier this year.
