Romania’s biggest electronic music festival will return with new edition next August

A new edition of Untold, Romania’s biggest electronic music festival, will take place in Cluj-Napoca, central Romania, between August 3 and August 6, 2017.

The first 5,000 tickets and subscriptions for the festival will be put up for sale this Friday, at promotional prices. The four-day passes will cost RON 333 (some EUR 74) plus taxes, and the one-day tickets will have a price of RON 200 (EUR 44) plus taxes.

The promotional tickets and subscriptions will only be available to those who registered on the festival’s website.

The full price four-day passes, which will cost RON 550 (EUR 122) plus taxes, and the tickets, which will have a price of RON 250 (EUR 55) plus taxes, will be put up for sale in 2017.

The 2016 edition of Untold (aftermovie below) brought more than 300,000 people to Cluj, and 10% of them were foreigners. The number was higher than the one registered the previous year, of some 240,000 people.

The event also took place in August, with several famous artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, and Hardwell being on the playlist.

Untold won the Best Major Festival Title at the 2015 European Festival Awards.
