Romania’s Transfagarasan road to close down from beginning of November
The Romanian national road 7C Transfagarasan will be closed for public circulation starting today, November 1, until end-June 2012, according to the National Company of Highways and National Roads in Romania (CNADNR).
“The bad weather conditions in this period may jeopardize the traffic safety through falling rocks, heavy snow falls, ice,” according to CNADNR.
The road will be closed between km 104 (Piscu Negru, Arges county) and km 130 (Balea Cascada, Sibiu county).
