Service center expands offices in west of Bucharest

The company Société Générale European Business Services, owned by French group Société Générale, has expanded its offices in the West Gate office park to 7,600 sqm.

The service center serves over 20 countries, mostly in Europe, for all of the group’s major business lines. It had 630 employees in 2015 and aims to reach 1,000 by 2017.

The West Gate office complex is located in western Bucharest and is owned by the real estate company Genesis Development, which is controlled by local investor Liviu Tudor. Genesis Development owns 150,000 sqm of class A office space.

This is the fourth consecutive expansion taking place in the portfolio of Genesis Development. The companies Hewlett Packard, Yokogawa, and Infineon have expanded their offices in the Novo Park compound, which is also owned by Genesis Development.
