Two televisions will broadcast the 2017 Oscars in Romania
Digi24 and Digi Film, both owned by Romanian telecom company RCS & RDS, will broadcast live the 89th Academy Awards ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, February 26, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, January 24, 15:18, Digi24 and Digi Film will also broadcast live the Oscar 2017 Nominations, which will be presented by Oscar-winning and nominated Academy members including Jennifer Hudson, Brie Larson, Emmanuel Lubezki, Jason Reitman and Ken Watanabe, reports Digi24.
Some of the films expected to be among those nominated for this year’s Academy Awards are La La Land, Fences, and Manchester by the Sea for Best Picture, while the Best Actor nominations are expected to include Casey Affleck and Denzel Washington.
Digi Film will also broadcast an edited version of the 2017 Oscars on Monday, February 27, 20:00.
The 89th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, being televised in the U.S. by ABC Television Network. The Oscars will also be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
