Uber has launched a new service in Bucharest: Uber Weekend Destinations. Via this service, the Uber users who want to get to some of their favorite weekend destinations can benefit from 20% discounts to all trips to and from those places, as well as complimentary products or discounts at their destination.

The service is the result of several partnerships between Uber and several locations where Bucharesters can spend their free time. The destinations currently recommended by Uber are Coftale, Hard Rock Cafe, JourneyPub, Social1, Stadio, No Exit escape rooms, and Orhideea Health & Spa. However, other restaurants, pubs, clubs, terraces, pools and other places are to be added to the list by the end of the campaign, namely August 31.

To benefit from the 20% discount, the Uber users have to choose one of the recommended destinations (the list here), open the Uber app and introduce the promotional code for that specific place. Once the users entered a promotional code in the app, this will stay active throughout the summer.

The promotion is valid until August 31, 2016, on Saturdays and Sundays, in the limit of 30 trips per user. Both old and new users can benefit from the discounts.

Uber entered the Romanian market in February 2015 and is now offering three services in Bucharest, namely UberX, UberSELECT, and Uber Child Seat. According to a recent ranking made by the company, the Henri Coanda Airport and Gara de Nord train station are two of the most popular Uber destinations in Bucharest. Find the entire list here.
