Music festival organizers want to make tourists spend more time in Transylvania
The organizers of Untold, the biggest electronic music festival in Romania, have found a way of making tourists spend more time in Transylvania and visit the most famous tourist attractions in the area.
Untold, which starts on Thursday, August 4, is expected to bring some 350,000 electronic music fans to Cluj-Napoca, in the heart of Transylvania.
Between August 5 and August 19, the access bracelets to Untold festival will turn into entry tickets. Via the Transylvania All Inclusive program, all those who decide to stay in Transylvania after the music festival will benefit from discounts of up to 50% when visiting some of the main touristic attractions in the area.
The famous Bran Castle (also known as Dracula’s Castle) is on the list, as well as Corvinilor Castle, the Merry Cemetery in Sapanta, the Mocanita steam train, and Turda Salt Mine.
Untold is one of the most important music festivals in Romania, as it won the Best Major Festival title at the 2015 European Festival Awards. This year’s edition of the event will take place between August 4 and August 7 in Cluj-Napoca. Its lineup includes Armin Van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto, Hardwell, and Martin Garrix.
