Low-cost airline Wizz Air will add more flights between Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest during the 2016-2017 winter season, according to the Cluj-Napoca International Airport.

Besides the six weekly flights operated by Wizz Air on this route starting July, the company will introduce new flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, starting October.

The market has a high potential for domestic flights, said David Ciceo, the director of the Cluj-Napoca International Airport.

In January this year, Wizz Air announced that it would introduce flights between Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest starting July, with prices starting at RON 39 (EUR 8.7).
