Wizz Air adds new aircraft to its Bucharest base
Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will add a new aircraft to its base in Bucharest. Starting this November, Bucharest will have nine Wizz Air aircraft. The investment amounts to EUR 100 million.
The new plane, Airbus A321, will help Wizz Air open a new route, from Bucharest to Tenerife, and increase the frequency of flights on other routes. The tickets for the new route have been already put up for sale at prices starting from RON 229 (EUR 50).
Following the introduction of this new aircraft, the total number of Wizz Air employees in Romania will exceed 600.
