Wizz Air launches new routes from Cluj to Malta, Stockholm
Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch this week new routes from Cluj-Napoca to Malta, Larnaca (Cyprus), and Stockholm (Sweden), according to a press release.
Wizz Air has six Airbus A320 aircraft and a team of 200, flying from Cluj-Napoca to 35 destinations in 17 countries.
In 2016, the company transported over 1.3 million passengers from and to Cluj-Napoca, and expects to reach a number of 1.9 million passengers this year.
In total, Wizz Air operates 79 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft and offers over 500 routes from 28 bases around Europe. The company transported 23 million passengers last year. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
