Woman gives birth to healthy baby in car while stuck in Bucharest traffic
A pregnant woman gave birth to a healthy baby in the car, as she couldn’t make it to the hospital in time, although a traffic police team escorted them there.
Three traffic police officers were in the Iuliu Maniu area in Bucharest when a woman announced them that a couple in a car needed help, reports local Digi24. The policemen went to the couple and saw that there was a pregnant woman in the car, who was already having labor contractions. Thus, the traffic police team decided to escort the couple to the hospital, hoping that this way they would make it in time.
However, the baby wanted to meet his mom as soon as possible, so the woman gave birth in the car. When they finally made it to the hospital, the doctors said that the little girl was healthy and the mother was OK. The baby weighs four kilograms.
The police officers who helped the couple get to the hospital, later brought flowers to the new mommy.
