Romanian lender BRD appoints two new vice presidents
BRD, the third-largest local lender in Romania, has appointed two new vice presidents, Jerome Yann and Yves Jean Guenole Lallemand. They will have four-year mandates and will be members in the bank’s steering committee.
The two men need to receive the central bank’s approval.
Jerome Yann, who will take over as Chief Risk Officer, has been working with BRD for several years. Yves Jean Guenole Lallemand will take over responsibilities in the corporate area, on a newly created position.
The bank’s Board of Directors has also appointed the current BRD CEO Francois Bloch as temporary administrator on the vacant post in the Board of Directors.
French group Societe Generale controls BRD. The bank is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, with a market capitalization of RON 8.7 billion (EUR 1.9 billion).
