Over 30 live exotic species of butterflies to fly free in Antipa Museum’s garden in Bucharest
The garden of the National Museum of Natural History Grigore Antipa in Bucharest will be home to over 30 live exotic species of butterflies for three months this year.
Between May 1 and July 31, 2013, the museum will host the Live Tropical Butterflies temporary exhibition organized in collaboration with the Butterfly House and Vulticulus Geographical Society . During this period, visitors will have the chance to see some 30 species of exotic butterflies flying free in a special greenhouse in the museum’s garden. Information about the the butterflies will also be on display and will include names of species, the countries of origin and the types of habitat in which the butterflies live.
Tickets for this exhibition cost RON 10 for children and students and RON 12 for adults and pensioners.
