The Chamber of Commerce and Industry – the National Chamber, organizes in partnership with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, a national workshop on the Equality Pays Off Initiative Pays Off, as part of the Strategy of the General Directorate for Justice & Equality between Men and Women, 2010 – 2015, to be held on May 31, 2013, between 09.00 and 15.00, at the Blue Amphitheater of the National Chamber Palace.

The National Chamber of Romania is the partner of the initiative mentioned above, in an approach aimed at achieving one of the fundamental objectives of the European Union - Gender Equality, especially on the labor market - and addresses more than 40,000 companies from 34 European countries (the 27 EU Member States, Croatia, Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).

The target group addressed by the project consists of business leaders and policy makers of the above-mentioned states, aiming to highlight the business models able to maximize the potential of the women’s workforce and support the companies to attract top candidates in the selection of their employees.

By engaging in this project, the National Chamber aims to help businesses in our country to overcome the challenges that arise in the labor market through a better integration of women labor force.
