In the context of strengthening and diversifzing the trade and economic relations between Romania and Spain, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – the National Chamber, organizes the Romania - Spain Business Forum in partnership with the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations, under the patronage of the Embassy of Spain in Bucharest.

The Forum will be held on May, 16, starting at 9.15 a.m. at the Palace of the National Chamber of Commerce, on the occasion of the official visit paid to Romania by His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain, Mr. José Manuel García-Margallo, which will be accompanied by His Excellency, the President of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations - CEOE Internacional, Mr. Jesús Banegas and a delegation of Spanish businessmen.

At the Business Forum Romania – Spain, announced their participation the members of the Spanish delegation, Romanian officials, representative personalities of international financial institutions and of the Romanian business life, leaders of reference companies from Romania and Spain.

The Business Forum contains in its first part, a plenary session to be held in the presence of the Romanian and Spanish officials, aiming to provide useful tips for the Spanish investors and a new perspective on the use of Structural Funds for the programming period 2014 - 2020, followed by sectoral sessions on topics connected to transport infrastructure, environment and renewable energy.

The main fields of activities of the participating companies are: constructions, engineering, transport infrastructure, environment, renewable energy and automotive industries.
