Real estate deals down to EUR 66 mln in second quarter in Romania
Real estate transactions in Romania totalled EUR 66 million in the second quarter of this year, down from over EUR 300 million in the first quarter, according to data from CBRE, cited by local Mediafax.
Thus, the value of real estate transactions in Romania totalled EUR 369 million in the first half, up almost three times compared to the same period last year, when it amounted to EUR 125 million. This places Romania fourth in Central and Eastern Europe, after Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic.
Last year, Romania attracted real estate investments of EUR 229 million, up by a quarter compared to the year before, while in the first quarter of last year, they stood at EUR 85 million.
