Romanian AdePlast ups turnover by a third in the first half of 2014
Romanian construction materials producer AdePlast ended the first half of the year with a turnover of RON 134 million (EUR 30 million), up 35 percent compared to the same period in 2013, despite the bad weather this year.
“Probably one of the best performances was recorded for exports, where we obtained EUR 1.36 million in 6 months, an increase of 184 percent compared to mid-2013,” said Marcel Barbut, CEO AdePlast, cited by local Agerpres.
In terms of value, AdePlast’s top export countries are Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Belgium and Poland. The company also exports to the Republic of Moldova, Austria, Lebanon, the Netherlands or Serbia.
Established in 1996, AdePlast operates several factories located on three industrial sites in Oradea, Ploiesti and Roman.
