Romania's Electrica appoints former Shell executive as board member
Romanian energy company Electrica’s shareholders decided on Friday to appoint Dutch German citizen Willem Jan Antoon Henri Schoeber as independent member of the company’s Administration Board.
The position remained empty after Michael Boersma gave up his seat in the board. Schoeber was a temporary board member since May 1 this year.
Electrica is managed by an administration board made up of seven members. These include Arielle Malard de Rothschild, Cristian Busu, Ioana Alina Dragan, Corina Georgeta Popescu, Bogdan George Iliescu, Pedro Mielgo Alvarez, and Willem Jan Antoon Henri Schoeber.
Willem Schoeber has an experience of over 40 years in the energy field. He has both Dutch and German citizenship. For most of his activity he worked within the groups Shell and EWE.
