18 February 2017

Vivaldianno - City of Mirrors, a 3D concert show inspired by the life and work of famous Italian Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi, will reach the Romanian capital this spring.

Vivaldianno - City of Mirrors has already amazed dozens of thousands of spectators. In Romania, the show will take place at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, on May 21.

In the show, a three-dimensional visual story, prestigious artists from three continents, and an exceptional choreography are combined with the latest audio-video technologies for a unique experience. Performing classical works combined with art-rock instrumentation, the Vivaldianno Orchestra is surrounded on stage by grandiose projections that reveal, step by step, the life of the famous Italian composer.

Czech composer Michal Dvořák is the show’s producer, while the entire visual concept is the result of Japanese Kosuke Sugimoto’s imagination.

Tickets for the performance in Bucharest cost between RON 115 and RON 280, and can be purchased online at Eventim.ro, or from Germanos, Vodafone, and Orange stores, Carrefour hypermarkets, OMV gas stations, and Carturesti and Humanitas bookshops.

Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) is best known for composing a series of violin concertos known as The Four Seasons.
