Romania-Insider.com website and its subdomains, further referred to as “the Website” or “Romania-Insider.com” is owned by Business Insider SRL, based in Romania, Bucharest, Bucharest, District 1, 8 Puskin Alexandru Sergheevici St., registered at the Bucharest Trade Registry under the number J40/6901/2011, C.I.F. 28588173. Business Insider SRL, further referred to as “We” or “Us”, is the data controller of the personal data submitted and processed by accessing the Website, subscribing our newsletters, purchasing a service or participating in a promotion campaign, awarding process or event organised by us.
We process the personal data provided by you, further referred to as “The User” or “You”, in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
2. What personal data do we collect?
We collect information on our website in two ways: directly provided by you when purchasing a service from us, filling in a form on our website, sending an email or calling us and automatically, when using our Website and Services. We use both types of data to improve our service.

When you choose to receive push notifications from our website, we collect information about your device and interaction with us such as: what push notifications you have been sent, information about your interactions with our website, geographic location - country, as well as system configuration information: information about your browser, such as browser language type and version of operating system - e.g., Android, iOS; language setting; time zone; a unique cookie identifier, which may uniquely identify you (such as in de-identified or anonymous form).

4. Why do we collect and process the data?

4.2. When becoming a member of the Romania Insider community we will use your personal data in order to enter into the contract and deliver the services to you or answering the requests received via email or a contact form on our website. For the information collected via other forms on our website, depending on the scope of your message, we’ll retain your personal data for as long as it’s necessary to address your request.
If legally required or if it is reasonably necessary to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our Terms and Conditions, we may also retain some of your information for a limited period of time as required, even after you unsubscribe, or it is no longer needed to provide the services to you.
