Local band uses 5G technology for first concert in Romania integrating a live hologram

Adrian Despot, the lead singer of well-known local rock band Vita de Vie, presented on Tuesday evening, February 19, the first concert in Romania that integrated a live performance transmitted through a hologram brought to live with the 5G technology provided by Vodafone Romania.

The protagonist of the live hologram sequence was Luca Mihail Leaua, a talented 10-year-old guitar player, who participated on this occasion in his first real performance in front of a large public.

Young Luca was Adrian Despot’s special guest and played in a room located at about 2 km from the concert hall. With the help of the 5G technology, he joined the Vita de Vie concert virtually and played along with the band. A recording of the show is available here.
