Accenture rents 1,000 sqm in office building in Romania's Iasi
Real estate developer Iulius Group has closed a deal with the IT service provider Accenture for leasing 1,000 sqm in the third office building of the United Business Center (UBC) complex.
The office buildings are located in the Palas real estate project, which has been developed by Iulius Group.
Accenture launched its operations in Iasi in August 2015, after it had acquired the company EnergyQuote JHA, a local supplier of management and energy acquisition services. The company has a team of 150 people in Iasi and plans to consolidate its operations there by moving all its employees to the new office building.
Accenture has over 2,000 employees in Romania, in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Targu Mures, and Iasi. It delivers services to firms in the financial, telecom or auto sectors.
The Romanian investor Iulian Dascalu owns the Iulius Group, which is one of the biggest local real estate developers and property owners.
