Actors Harvey Keitel and Frank Langella, in Romania for movie shooting
After Nicholas Cage, who filmed Ghost Rider 2 in Romania, two more world -renowned actors will visit the country where they will shoot their new movies. Harvey Keitel (in picture) and Frank Langella will both come to Romania this year for movie shootings.
After the “Sword of War” (2009), starring Rutger Hauer and F. Murray Abraham, Italian director Renzo Martinelli has started a new collaboration with Castel Film, Romania. The new project’s title is “September 11”, but it’s possible to be changed in order not to be confused with the date of the 2001 terrorist attacks. In fact, the action of the movie will take place in 1683. The film produced by Renzo Martinelli will bring Harvey Keitel to Romania. In May or June this year, Keitel should also shoot for “So I Say”, Bogdan Dumitrescu Dreyer’s film, produced by Romanian company Tandem Film.
Castel Film Romania will likely start shooting the feature film “Puzzle for a Blind Man” in May this year. Actor Frank Langella has already been confirmed for the leading role. The budget for this movie is said to be the biggest for a Romanian production so far – more than EUR 5 million.
“ Ghost Rider 2”, the first major American production filmed in Romania, starring Nicholas Cage, has finished production on February 23. This movie’s production was launched on November 1. The film was shot in over 20 locations in Romania and at Castel Film Studios.
