Adina Ionescu takes over as Communication Director of Renault Group Romania

Romanian Adina Ionescu is the new Communication and Social Responsibility Director of Renault Group Romania. She replaces Anca Oreviceanu, who will be assigned to another position within Renault Group.

This is one of the highest executive positions in the local corporate communication sector. Renault Group Romania Communication department covers the internal and external communications perimeter as well Corporate Social Responsibility activities of all Renault Group brands and units in Romania, including car maker Automobile Dacia, the biggest local company by turnover.

Adina Ionescu is majored in International Business Relations and in Marketing and Communications within Bucharest Economic Studies Academy. She graduated the London Chartered Institute of Public Relations in London. She had more than 20 years of experience in communications within multinational companies, leaders in their fields, as well as 3 years of volunteering in various non-governmental organizations.

Prior to this assignment, she was Communications Manager for Mol Romania, the fourth biggest local oil company, from July 2007 until August 2016. Before that she worked as PR & Corporate Communications manager for Alcatel-Lucent and Schneider Electric.

Renault Group has more than 16,000 employees in Romania. Its local operations include Dacia Vehicle Plant, Dacia Mechanical and Chassis Plant, Logistic platform Alliance International Logistics Network (AILN), Renault Technologie Roumanie engineering center, Renault Design Central Europe, Spare Part Centre in Oarja, Renault Services Roumanie, Renault Commercial Roumanie, and Renault Credit International.

The group’s flagship company in Romania, Automobile Dacia, had a turnover of EUR 4.3 billion and a net profit of EUR 100 million in 2015. Dacia produces the popular Logan, Sandero, and Duster models and most of its production goes to export.
