AFI Palace Cotroceni to host first high heels running contest in Romania
The 100 meters high heels running dash Glamour Stiletto Run, organized by Glamour Romania, will make its Romanian debut at the AFI Palace Cotroceni on Thursday (August 2) at 18:00.
The participants will have to walk a 100 meter path at speed, wearing any shoes with heels of at least 7 centimeters height and 2 centimeters in diameter, for a chance to win the big prize, a voucher for EUR 1,500 from Musette.
Invented in Holland in March 2006, the glam running in heels contest made headlines around the world: German glam girls entered the race in 2006 in Berlin, and their example was followed by girls in Russia, in July 2007.
In 2008 the passion for running in the heels was embraced by the readers of Glamour in Sweden and in April 2011, the South Africa joined in the fun.
