After 15 years at Musat & Asociatii law firm, Catalin Baiculescu moves to Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii as partner
Romanian lawyer Catalin Baiculescu (in picture) is the new partner at Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii law firm, as of June 22 this year. Previously, Baiculescu worked for over 15 years in another law firm, namely Musat & Asociatii, where he was a co-managing partner and then deputy managing partner.
Catalin Baiculescu has a professional experience spanning over 15 years, having provided legal advice in various investment projects, such as mergers, acquisitions and privatizations. His expertise in the banking and finance area covers aspects of general finance and banking law, contractual relationships, syndicated loans and compliance, with a focus on project finance transactions, bank restructuring, bank privatization and electronic banking. Other areas of expertise include telecom, media and IT.
Catalin Baiculescu was a parliamentary adviser between August 1997 and July 1998 and for four months, between September and December 1998, he was a consultant for the Romanian government. Between May 1998 and June this year, the Romanian lawyer was part of Musat & Asociatii’s team. Currently he is also member of the lawyers' disciplinary tribunal. Find Baiculescu’s CV here.
Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii plans to further expand the team of partners this year. “We’ll perform several internal promotions, at least two other partners will be nominated this year,” said Gabriel Zbarcea, Managing Partner of the law firm.
