Agapedia organizes charity benefit chamber concert with Horia Mihail, Alexandru Tomescu, Razvan Summa
The Agapedia Romania Foundation will organize a charitable event on December 3 at the Auditorium hall of the National Art Museum, starting 18,00 hours. The funds raised at this event will contribute to the construction and equipment of a new social-medical center. The charity entrance ticket for each person is RON 200. The event will feature a charity benefit chamber concert performed by„Trio Romania” and will be opened by Princess Marina Sturdza and Günter Verheugen, former Vice-President of the European Commission. A networking opportunity will be available during the buffet dinner. The trio Romania is made of Horia Mihail, who plays the piano, Alexandru Tomescu playing the violin and Razvan Summa, who plays the cello. They all studied abroad and returned to Romania. Alexandru Tomescu won the violin competition which gave him the five-year right to use the only Stradivarius violin in Romania.
Agapedia Romania Foundation was established in 1995, having the mission to improve the quality of life of children and families in difficulty, to help develop the child protection system and to create effective health and social services. The charity plans to open a social – medical center for foster parents, training, as well as social and medical services for children and families in need.
