Agrana expects lower turnover in Romania this year
Agrana group, active on the sugar market, estimates a turnover of some EUR 214 million in Romania this year, down from some EUR 267 million recorded in 2013. However, the company expects a profit of some EUR 4.9 million in 2014, after recording loss a year earlier.
Agrana also has several projects planned for this year.
Austrian Agrana Zucker holds 91.81 of Agrana Romania shares. In February, the company announced that it would buy two Romanian production units in Urziceni and Liesti from producer Lemarco.
In Romania, Agrana produces and sells sugar under the brands Margaritar Zahar and Coronita.
