The Agricover Group recorded a turnover of EUR 151 million in 2010, an increase of 52 percent compared to 2009, when its businesses stood at EUR 100 million. The agriculture solutions provider announced that in 2011, the business is expected to increase by about 21 percent.

Its distribution division covered 34 percent of the group’s turnover and scored an own increase of 29 percent of the distributed inputs - seeds, fertilizers and plant protection products. Also, the grain division grew its turnover by 63 percent in 2010 compared to 2009, representing 59 percent of the group’s turnover.

Founded in 2000 by a merger between SC Comcereal SA Buzau and Ulvex SA, Agricover Group is a provider of solutions for agriculture. The group is owned by Jabbar Kanani, who is also shareholder in Prodal, which distributes domestic and imported alcohol drinks.
