Alexandru Bucsa leaves Oltchim to take over as new GM of Gaz Sud
Alexandru Bucsa, former financial manager of Romanian company Oltchim, has been recently named general manager for the Romanian distribution company Gaz Sud. This comes after the joint venture partnership made by PPF Investments Group ("PPFI") and Romanian businessman Dinu Patriciu regarding the Gaz Sud and GDR distribution companies.
The new general manager replaces Gary Mazzotti, who will remain on the Board of Directors of Gaz Sud representing shareholder PPFI. Alexandru Bucsa, 44, has previously worked 10 years with Rompetrol and the last 2 years at Oltchim.
Gaz Sud was founded in 2001 and PPFI become its shareholder in 2008. The company posted a turnover of EUR 7.7 million and losses of EUR 1.8 million in 2010.
