Allianz Tiriac's gross premiums, down 20 percent
Insurance company Allianz-Ţiriac posted an operational profit of EUR 2 million in the first six months of the year, similarly to the first six months of last year. The insurer's gross subscribed premiums have decreased by 20 percent on general insurances, to EUR 119 million. Life insurance subscribed premiums have stagnated to EUR 12 million.
The company has changed its management in May this year, when in appointed Rangam Bir chief executive officer of insurer Allianz Tiriac, replacing Cristian Constantinescu, who will remain in the insurer’s board and continue as the CEO’s advisor for at least a year. Rangam Bir used to be the vice-president of Allianz New Europe.
