American actor Kevin Costner has recently arrived in Romania to shoot a TV miniseries in the Dragoslavele village, Arges County. Filming of the TV miniseries produced by the History Channel in collaboration with Castel Film started on Tuesday, September 27, and will finish on September 29.

The story's plot is placed in America after the Civil War and focuses on two rival clans. Hatfield and McCoy families hate each other for more than a hundred years, and their hate includes crimes and love stories. “We chose the area because we made a film in Arges county, and was chosen because the Dragoslavele relief is the same as in America,” said Leslie Grief, general producer of the film, quoted by Mediafax newswire.

Kevin Costner was born in California on January 18, 1955, and is an American actor, singer, musician, producer, director, and businessman. He made his debut in the film at 27 and became an international star in 1990 with the movie "Dances with Wolves", which won two Oscars. Kevin Costner will play Clark Kent's father in the upcoming Superman movie to be directed by Zack Snyder.
