American heavy metal band Manowar are the latest addition to the roster at Bucharest's Ost Fest, at Romexpo between June 15 and 17. The band, playing on June 16, joins other bands, such as Motorhead, Mötley Crüe, Megadeth, Europe, Overkill, Lake of Tears and W.A.S.P.

Manowar are an American heavy metal band from NewYork, formed in 1980. The band have released a total of eleven studio albums so far, the first one being ‘Battle Hymns’ - 1982. The band's line up is currently Joey DeMaio - bass, Eric Adams - vocals, Karl Logan - guitar, and Donnie Hamzik - drums. Read more about Manowar on their official website here.

“We are happy to return to the crazy and very musical audience of Romania, an audience which knows how to enjoy a heavy metal concert and who have proven to be able to sing at super high volumes on the level of Manowar's live sound, which is no easy task”, said Joey DeMaio. The band also performed in Romania in 2010.

Tickets for the music festival in Romania cost between RON 90 and RON 500.
